				 +'(Abidjan, Ivory Coast), the Roger Guerin Big Band (France), and the Dixie Doctors (Paris).'

				 +'and  is a composer-member in the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers '

				 +'He began leading bands in England and France in the decades that ' 
				 +'followed until, in 1982, he moved to Egypt where he worked with a trio. '
				 +'From 1985 to 1997 he led bands in Africa (notably the International Jazzmen, ' 
				 +'with Art on piano). During that period he often played summer seasons in '
				 +'Europe and the USA, including New Orleans. Then followed two years in Ohio in the USA, ' 
				 +'where he was leader of the Athens Dixieland Jazz Band and played at many jazz festivals. ' 
				 +'In 1999 he settled in the south of France where he and Art formed the Anglo-American ' 
				 +'Jazz Band. As well as playing the trumpet, David sings and plays valve trombone and tuba. '
